HI, I’m Rose. I have so many passions that I want to to share with you! Two of them are health and fitness.
I have been interested in a healthy lifestyle most of my life. Growing up on a farm, we were always active and working together to get things done. This created a mindset in me to encourage and to help others. Being the youngest of 12 children, we learned to share everything.
This also inspired me to share my creativity of hairdressing. I have been a hairdresser for 33 years and absolutely love my decision to do so. In these many years of building relationships and discussing health and fitness with my clients, I decided to go further with it. I attained my personal training certification, working and sharing with women of all ages to get in shape.
I now hold a group fitness instruction certification. I teach 3-4 classes a week, while still working full time as a hairdresser. Making people feel beautiful inside and out is very rewarding to me.
My classes consists of women, all ages, sizes, and all levels of fitness.
It is so fun watching how my fitness clients are becoming friends, sharing their lives with one another. This also helps to hold them accountable. If others are depending on you being at class, you show up! And that, once again, is the beauty of it! I want to encourage you to make the choice to show up! We are not intimidating and there is no judgement here. We are just regular women who want to support one another to make fitness a part of our lives, while making it FUN!
Not only are we building confidence in ourselves, we are getting healthier and building muscle. We laugh and
are okay with where we are right now with ourselves. That is exactly where you are supposed to be. Acceptance is first and foremost a very important thought you should have. Then you can put your intentions out there.
I believe in positive affirmations in our everyday thoughts, hence the name of my business, ‘I AM FIT’
Just close your eyes and tell yourself something positive right now, such as: ‘I AM WELL’, or ‘I AM AT PEACE’
Breathe deep a few times while saying this and notice a difference in your body. Smile to yourself knowing that you have the power to make a difference.
We all have choices to make. What choices do you make in your everyday life? Are you being sedentary?
Do you want to grow older and feel good??
Let’s make positive ones to make you feel more confident. Let’s have the mindset that we can grow older and love life!
How about making the choice to ‘GET UP & MOVE, STRETCH, AND STRENGTHEN?’
How about being able to move about the day with ease, being more flexible, and feeling stronger?
So, LET’S DO THIS, the time is now! And, YES YOU CAN!
